Absolute Poker launches a series of bounty tournaments which will culminate in a $200+$9 buy-in tourney, in which the winner receives a WSOP Main Event seat. Bounty tournaments are loads of fun anyways. This is how they work: the buy-in is slightly higher than that of a regular tournament because each player brings a bounty to the tables on top of the actual buy-in. If you knock a player out, you automatically get their bounty. It’s a great way to make some money without ever cashing in the classic sense, and apparently it’s a great way to win a WSOP seat too. For the Bounty WSOP Assassin Main Event there are daily satellites running.
